Specialist care, tailored to your dog
Based in Doncaster, Labrador Lodge offers professional dog home boarding, walking and training services for both family pets and working dogs and proudly serve Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield.
We specialise in working dogs and gun dog breeds, providing structured care tailored to each dog’s needs. To help maintain existing training standards, dogs in our care are not permitted to freely chase balls or dummies unless specifically requested by the owner. Dogs are carefully matched during excercise to encourage calm, controlled behavouir and prevent uncontrolled play or chasing. Board - and - train dogs are exercised and trained individually unless there is a clear training benefit to working alongside another suitable dog.
Whether you need reliable dog walking or a safe, home-from- home environment, your dog will receive individual attention and expert handling.
Our home provides a calm, secure and structured setting where dogs can relax and feel part of the family. With experience handling active pet dogs and working breeds, we ensure every dog receives the right balance of exercise, training and care.
We are fully licensed to higher standards, qualified with certifications in dog training, canine first aid, home boarding and dog walking- giving you complete peace of mind.

After being let down by our dog sitter for Jasmine and Meg for our 16 day holiday to Florida we found Labrador Lodge and so glad we did. This was the first time the girls stayed somewhere else other than at home and I was very worried because of this and also that they had never been in a home with other dogs, but Labrador Lodge were so accommodating. The girls had an over night stay before to see how they coped and all went well.
During our holiday we had daily updates of what they had been up to throughout the day and the girls had a blast whilst there. They were swimming most days which is a favourite thing of theirs. They were made to feel part of their lovely family and were treated as if they were their own dogs. We are so thankful to have found them and couldn’t recommend enough, the girls were living it up in 5 star accommodation.

Buddy stayed in this lovely home for a week. from the meet and greet he already seemed so settled, I got regular updates with photos and videos which really put my mind at ease. We had done very little leash training before his stay, and the improvement with this was crazy! Would definitely use again and highly recommend.
