Made with 1/2 inch biothane and a heavy duty snap clasp. 
Longline’s are not intended to be held by hands so it’s  made with out a handle to
Prevent snagging and thus potentially causes injury to your dog. 
It’s always best to tie a knot in the end of the long line and use your foot to stand on it should you wish to stop your dog. 
However it’s recommended with biothane not to keep the knot in place after use and when stored  to prevent damage to the line
